Science and Technology Park Let’s dive into the first part of the story DLC Dying Light 2, Bloody Tielaunched this week.
Bloody Ties will take you to The Carnage Hall, “a place of fame, wealth, and power,” where you’ll have to face new enemies in a series of trials. Of course, there will also be new weapons, challenges and locations to explore. Carnage Hall, a converted opera house, is now dedicated to people fighting each other rather than zombies.
“In its former glory, the Hall of Slaughter was a grand opera house. It was then rebuilt and turned into this elite fighting place with arenas, gore and brutal duels,” concept artist Anna Krzemien delves into the new area said on the DLC. “Even now, you can see the rest of the interior mixed with roughness.”
For new players or those who haven’t quite finished the game, Krzemien also points out that you don’t have to play through the entire game as long as you’ve completed the “Only Way Out” quest.
Narrative director Piotr Szymanek also has some “secrets” about the arena to share, saying: “In the Holocaust Hall you meet some really big people…one of them is Astrid, Post-apocalyptic performer and entertainer first, he believes people need bread and circuses.”
As far as new enemies and weapons you can look forward to, there are new mutated Infectors like Gorilla Breaker, Cataclysm and Hell, and if you’re looking for some defensive options, there’s also Massacre Mania, which can be used as a Power roadblock.
Bloody Ties launches later this week (November 10), and pre-ordering it before it launches will get you the Noble Pack, but if you have the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition, it’s already included.
