Techland announces delays for first story DLC Dying Light 2.
Now slated for September, the studio says it needs more time to deliver “the absolute highest level of polish” to the DLC to meet player expectations.
Over the past few months, the team has been focusing on adding needed features such as a new Game+ mode, FOV sliders for consoles, and many co-op improvements.
On top of that, in June, it will launch the first game chapter called “In the Footsteps of the Nightcrawler,” which is full of content and events, as well as a photo mode.
As you can see in the updated roadmap, there’s a lot to look forward to. June-August will see more content, such as updates to the agent and rank system, new quests and bounties, rewards and new enemies. You can pretty much expect the same September to November as well as the second DLC chapter and the aforementioned story DLC.
Going forward, you can also look forward to a second story DLC, more weapons, enemies, events, and paid and free DLC as part of Techland’s five-year plan support.
Released on February 4, it was announced back in April that Dying Light 2 had sold 5 million copies in its first month on all platforms.
