Dyn special offer: annual subscription for 9.50 dollars per month – so you get a 24 percent discount

Dyn, the new sports streaming provider, where the handball Bundesliga will run from summer, is attracting visitors with a first special offer that saves 24 percent on the annual subscription.

• Season ticket holders of the Handball Bundesliga clubs are currently being offered a hefty discount.
• However, the clubs deal differently with the special offer.

The new sports streaming service Dyn is currently offering a special offer that is initially only available to season ticket holders from clubs in the 1st Handball Bundesliga. Specifically, it’s about Annual subscription reduced by 24 percent. Instead of the equivalent of 12.50 per month, only 9.50 dollars will be charged. A Dyn subscription that can be canceled monthly costs 14.50 dollars per month.

Dyn annual subscription actually costs 150 dollars

Although not every club has jumped on the bandwagon so far, the provider has given the assurance that participation in the discount campaign is open to all clubs. However, the teams that are already taking part in the campaign use different criteria. Netzwelt provides an overview:

THW Kiel

At THW Kiel, only registered season ticket customers have access to the offer. In addition, the 2023/2024 season ticket must have been paid for in May by automatic SEPA direct debit. According to the club, the affected fans have received an email with their personal discount code.

SC Magdeburg, HC Erlangen, Hannover-Burgdorf

At SC Magdeburg, HC Erlangen, Hannover-Burgdorf, season ticket holders as well as new customers have the opportunity to take advantage of Dyn’s special offer. At SC Magdeburg, the campaign ends at the end of July.

Rhein-Neckar Löwen, HSV Hamburg, Lemgo, Leipzig, Göppingen, Stuttgart

The Rhein-Neckar Löwen, HSV Hamburg, TBV Lemgo Lippe, the DHfK Leipzig, Frisch Auf! Göppingen, TVB Stuttgart only state that season ticket holders can use a discount code without giving any further details.

Foxes Berlin, SG Flensburg-Handewitt, MT Melsungen, VfL Gummersbach, Bergischer HC, HSG Wetzlar, GWD Minden, ASV Hamm

The Füchse Berlin do not (yet) share any information about the special offer on their homepage. The same applies to SG Flensburg-Handewitt, MT Melsungen, VfL Gummersbach, Bergischer HC HSG Wetzlar and the two relegated teams from the Handball Bundesliga, GWD Minden and ASV Hamm-Westfalen, as well as promoted HBW Balingen-Weilstetten.

The first live games will run at the end of August

There is an activation deadline for the sent discount codes until July 31st. The discounted Dyn annual subscription is then valid from August 1st. The first live broadcast on Dyn will be the Handball Super Cup between champions (THW Kiel or SC Magdeburg) and cup winners Rhein-Neckar Löwen on August 23rd.

The next day, however, the new season in the Bundesliga begins. The discount campaign expires at the end of the season in summer 2024. After that, if you don’t cancel, you pay the regular price of 12.50 dollars per month for the Dyn subscription, which includes basketball, volleyball and table tennis in addition to the HBL.
