The device names on Dyson’s cordless vacuum cleaners are not easy to distinguish, which is why we have long since written a comparison of all models. Dyson’s V12 is the lightest cordless vacuum cleaner yet powerful.
In addition to its low weight, the vacuum cleaner impresses with its compact dimensions and an extensive set of accessories. It filters the air with a HEPA filter and thus ensures better indoor air. In contrast to the V12 Detect Absolute, it does not have a piezoelectric sensor that can detect the amount of dust. And it’s more suitable for hard floors than carpet experts, of course you can still use it for that.
In addition, the V12 shines compared to other Dyson vacuum cleaners with a special button. This allows you to switch the vacuum cleaner on or off. Sounds trivial, but when vacuuming you don’t have to constantly hold down the trigger button like you do with other Dyson models.
Because the missing sensor allows the V12 Origin to vacuum equally well on all surfaces, with a sensor the suction power would be adjusted to the surface and amount of dust.
