Game news E3 2021: Godfall announces its release date … on PS4
While it was console-exclusive for PS5, Godfall surprisingly announced a release for PS4 last April. We now know the start date of this version … last-gen.
This is certainly not a first in video game history, but it is rare for a game to have the right to be ported to the generation that preceded its first release. Yet this is the case with Godfall. Keep in mind that this was a PlayStation 5 launch game released on November 12, 2020, but also on PC through the Epic Game Store. Unfortunately, the game didn’t convince the critics, especially at home, and inherited a 13/20 in our columns.
Certainly due to the lack of players, Counterplay Games and Gearbox Publishing then decided to republish the title on a new platform. Not on Microsoft consoles, but on Sony consoles … of the previous generation, i.e. the PS4. From now on we now know the release date of this version, which is intended for the last generation. Therefore, Godfall arrives on PlayStation 4 on August 10th, which also coincides with the start of the free update. lightbringer and the extension, it pays, Fire & darkness.
