EA Origin: Is there a problem with your account? These solutions can help

EA Origin is very important as a gaming company's game service, with access to games such as Battlefield or FIFA. But what if you have a problem with Origin? We will then show you the right solution for your account to function properly again.

Because EA Origin is an online service, the server can sometimes go down and cause you problems. So, first of all, please review our EA Game Services Failure Report to determine if the cause of the problem is not here.

However, even if all servers are working well, EA Origin can cause you trouble. The solutions we have collected show that you usually solve your own problems in just a few simple steps. See below for how to solve the most common issues.

Achievements and starting points are not counted

Achievements and original points won't be credited to your account.


According to EA, you will only receive both types of information if you also log in online with your account at the same time. So check your internet connection again. If successful, make sure you also meet all necessary conditions for success.

Login failed

You cannot log in.


Currently, Origin may have server issues, so try logging in again and again. Otherwise, please check if your internet line is currently stable. Alternatively, you can play in offline mode first. Gift function: no friends found

You can't find your friends on Origin to send them gifts.


First, make sure that the friend you are looking for also has an Origin account. You should also check if you entered the EA ID or friend's name correctly. If none of this resolves the issue, ask your friends if they have prevented you from using Origin's gifts.

Problems with high-quality games

You have obtained a higher quality version of the game with a standard version (such as a special edition). But now your associated save has been deleted.


Unfortunately, according to EA on the official website, this error occurred in many games developed before 2011. Although you can usually continue to use saved states in newer games without problems, you must consider older games, and your game state will be reset due to the lack of upgrade support. Since you cannot fix it yourself, we recommend that you consider installing such versions in advance.

Gift accidentally sent to the wrong person

You accidentally sent the gift to someone you want.



Error message "Too many computers have recently accessed the (game name) version of this account."

When you try to access the game in EA Origin, an error message appears.


This happens once you install one of the games you purchased through Origin on a total of five different computers within 24 hours. Raw counts include installations on all types of equipment. You can't fix the error message yourself, but if you wait for a day, you should be able to access the game completely again without any problems.

Gift is not in the game library

You opened the gift, but it is not in the game library.


EA recommends logging out of your account and restarting Origin. Then it should work.
