Electronic Arts has regularly stayed away from the E3 in recent years. But while the game fair is completely canceled this year due to the corona pandemic, the in-house online event EA Play is taking place as planned – but this time only in digital form.
EA promises world premieres
Since 2015, the gaming giant has not officially attended E3 with its own press conference and instead, spread over several days, informed the world about all the news about its games with its EA Play Events.

As the publisher has now announced on Twitter, there will be a livestream again this year – this time, however, only one that will be shown in the early morning of June 12, 2020 at 1 a.m. will be held.
There are currently no further details on the event, but EA promises »World premieres, news and more!" «
What games could we expect?
So far, Electronic Arts has kept secret which games we see, so we can only speculate here. It is considered fairly certain that EA Sports is back annual sports titles, such as the new FIFA or Madden offshoots.
BioWare, on the other hand, could present news about Dragon Age 4: a first teaser trailer was shown during the Game Awards in 2018, since then fans have to wait for specific information about the RPG sequel.

In addition, the Canadians are currently working on the reboot update 2.0 of the flopped loot shooter Anthem. Furthermore, at the beginning of the year there were rumors that the Mass Effect series could get another part or at least a remaster of the first three games.
Last but not least, EA is supposed to be working on two different Star Wars games – a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and an unusual other project. We will only know exactly what EA really means by world premieres on June 12th.
