Electronic Arts will still showcase its annual EA Play Live event in 2020.
Not surprisingly, this is not a physical event. This year's EA Play Live will be played online at 4pm on June 11, Pacific Standard Time (PST). Electronic Arts promises to have "a world premiere, news, and more"

Electronic Arts first announced EA Play in 2016 as an E3 alternative event held a few days before the start of the annual event. So far, the company has not announced the expectations of EA Play Live for its "world premiere" this year, but you can expect us to keep pace with the times.
EA Play Live is just the latest streaming game event in the coming weeks and months. Xbox has announced that it will provide a third-party display of Xbox Series X products starting May 7, and Geoff Keighley's summer game festival will span four months from May to August. As part of the Summer Games Festival, holders of Steam, Xbox, and other platforms will have access to playable, limited-time demos, and can select game content to try out.
E3 2020 was originally scheduled to be held from June 9 to 11, but the show was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
