On September 20th, the time has come: EA Sports FC 25, the latest offshoot of the no-longer FIFA series from publisher EA, will be released. Fans are particularly interested in the Ultimate Team mode, in which players can build their own team and draw football stars from loot boxes or buy them from other players on the transfer market. Now EA has let the cat out of the bag and explained in a new video how the Ultimate Team mode will work in the new part and what has changed compared to its predecessor. The video gives initial insights into the rush gameplay and the new, additional player roles. The evolutions already known from FC 24 have been revised to feel less restrictive. But beware: Although Ultimate Team offers a high level of tactical depth and fun, it should not be concealed that in-game currency and microtransactions are essential components of Ultimate Team for EA. EA Sports FC 25 will be released for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
