EA SPORTS developed the college football game from 2005 to 2014. Since the last release, college football has been “one of the most requested games for EA Sports fans”.
Cam Weber, Executive Vice President of EA Sports and General Motors, said: “We have received requests from millions of enthusiastic fans to return to college football video games.” “We love the energy, tradition and charm of college football. I am happy to say that we are re-developing. We still have a lot of very exciting work to do, and a great team is eager to bring players a new game in the next few years.”
CLC CEO Cory Moss said: “We are very happy to work with EA SPORTS to regain the franchise of the college football team, which is one of the most popular college licensed products in our history.” “College football video games will be enthusiastic. Of fans connect with the college brand and introduce new fans to the legendary traditions, excitement and match day experience that makes college football unique.”
The new franchise promises to provide a real college football experience and high-quality gameplay. Through the CLC partnership, the franchise will include the rights to more than 100 organizations with features such as logos, sports fields, uniforms, and game day traditions.
Although the names, images and portraits of student athletes will not be included in the current college competition, EA Sport is still closely monitoring these developments.
The company will reveal more information about the new college football franchise and release it in the future.
