Originally slated for a Spring 2022 release, EA announces it’s available EA Sports PGA Tour Enter Spring 2023.
This tournament will be the only place you can play in all four majors including the Masters, PGA Championship, U.S. Open and British Open.
You can also build your career with The Players Championship, FedExCup Playoffs and Amundi Evian Championship.
As with the real PGA Tour season, you’ll be able to earn FedExCup points in the in-game Career Mode for a chance to make the FedExCup playoffs, and top golfers have a chance to win the FedExCup at the end of the year . Career Mode will also see the return of the Korn Ferry Tour, which will allow you to hone your skills before joining the PGA Tour.
Five majors on the LPGA Tour will be included, and you’ll have the chance to play as multiple female athletes and create a female golfer in the newly revamped Create-A-Player feature. Iona Stephen will also join the EA commentary team, becoming the game’s first female live commentator.
PGA Tour golfers will use the PGA Tour’s proprietary real-time scoring system to realistically reproduce the game. The game also uses ShotLink data, which will provide a wealth of data that will be integrated into the development of the game, resulting in accurate player ratings and skills. Data from TrackMan is also incorporated into an additional layer of authenticity, allowing developers to “perfect gameplay” and many stats such as club adjustments.
When the game releases next spring, it will be the first game in the series since Rory McIlroy’s PGA Tour release in 2015.
