The market for serious football games is comparatively small. The two biggest titles are EA Sports FC and Konami’s eFootball. The latter have now landed a partnership that is likely to cause sweaty brows at Electronic Arts.
Konami has teamed up with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). The primary purpose of the collaboration is to strengthen e-sports in the football segment. Therefore, two tournaments will be held in Konami’s eFootball.
