EGX Rezzed 2020 moves to summer due to coronavirus

EGX Rezzed will not be held later this month, as originally planned.

EGX fainted Organizer Reedpop announced that this year's independent show has been postponed. Rezzed was previously scheduled for March 26-28 and will now be held sometime this summer.

The new date and location will be announced later. Tickets are still valid on the new date, but those who do not wish to participate can contact customer service (email).

Reedpop said in a press release: "We are doing everything we can to plan events, but in the end, maintaining social alienation is neither feasible nor in the spirit of Rezzed's interactive and community nature."

"It's the community that makes Rezzed so special, and our responsibility is to ensure your safety is paramount."

Of course, obsession is not the only gaming practice affected by the corona virus. In fact, every major exhibition and business event held in the first half of this year was postponed or completely cancelled. These include E3 2020, Taipei Game Show 2020, GDC 2020, etc.
