One of the most anticipated titles in the near future is certainly Elden Ring by dek Dark Souls makers From Software. Has the date now finally been set for the detailed presentation of the action game?
Above all, fans of From Software and Dark Souls have high hopes for the studio’s new title, Elden Ring. Since the official announcement of the title, however, it has become extremely quiet and earlier speculations about a more detailed presentation have not been confirmed to date. Now there is a new rumor about the possible reveal date.
Leaker Idle Sloth, who has already appeared frequently, has now published a screenshot of an artwork via Twitter. The picture is said to have sprung from a teaser video for Elden Ring and reveals the supposed date of the more detailed presentation.
If this leak is confirmed this time, Elden Ring could finally be shown in action on June 14, 2021; the waiting time would therefore only be a few weeks.
Is this realistic? At least June 14th would fit into the games calendar of the year, after all, the digital E3 2021 will take place from June 12th to 15th. Elden Ring was announced at E3 2019, so it would almost only make sense and round off the story if you show the game in more detail again at E3 and possibly also confirm a release date.
Publisher Bandai Namco has already confirmed for the US trade fair, but will probably not hold its own press conference. The supposedly leaked picture shows the Xbox logo, so Elden Ring could possibly be shown at Microsoft. The Redmond-based company usually holds a showcase as part of the fair, but has not yet announced one for the 2021 edition.
An official statement is pending and as long as no presentation of the game for E3 has been announced, you should classify today’s announcement strictly as a rumor. The authenticity of the picture cannot currently be confirmed. We will of course keep you up to date on further developments!
