A new Elden Ring comedy comic is coming to the screen, but this time the focus is on those NPCs you may have seen in some of the lore videos.
In late 2022, Elden Ring was adapted into a manga, and despite the game itself being a series, this take on the Lands Between opted for a more comedic tone. Yesterday, Bandai Namco and FromSoftware announced that a new manga titled Elden Ring Distant Stories from The Lands Between is coming soon. This time around, while still taking a comedic approach, the game’s many NPCs will be the main focus, with the first story focusing on Roderica, who many of you may have already met, considering you can find her pretty early on in the game.

Haruichi, an artist known for his work on the manga adaptations of Star Wars: Visions and Leia Organa: The Trial of a Princess, will serve as both artist and writer for Faraway Tales. The previous manga, Elden Ring: The Road to Erdtree, was helmed by Jiichi Tobita (Daily Life of the Cursed Sword), which was released in September 2022. Haruichi’s upcoming manga is also coming soon, as it will be released on Kadokawa’s Comic Hu manga website (although there’s no word on an English translation just yet).
Of course, the most anticipated Elden Ring title right now is Shadow of the Erdtree, which is set to be released next Friday. However, there is still the question of whether you are ready to play it – according to Steam Achievements, almost two-thirds of players have not yet completed the prerequisite boss fights to play the DLC. Fortunately, we can help you complete the steps you need to complete before the DLC is released, so act quickly! Or don’t play it, your choice.
