Eldon Ring It’s doing pretty well in the UK. The game’s launch is the largest release in the UK since Call of Duty: Pioneer.
Currently number one on the GSD UK digital and physical data chart, the FromSoftware title outsold Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Cyberpunk 2077 in its first week (thanks GI.biz).
With PC and Xbox as the main platforms, digital downloads accounted for more than 68% of sales. About 85% of sales on Xbox are downloads, and 73% on PC. PS5 and PS4 account for more than 50%.
In digital and physical sales, PlayStation 5 accounted for 32% of sales, PC accounted for 30% of sales, Xbox accounted for 29%, and PS4 accounted for 9%.
In the digital top 10, FIFA 22 is second, Horizon: Forbidden West is third, GTA 5 is fourth and Horizon: Zero Dawn is fifth, after Elden Ring.
Combining the numbers and physical charts, Horizon Forbidden West was second behind Elden Ring, FIFA 22 was third, GTA 5 was fourth, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus was fifth.
Data for GSD comes from participating companies selling through Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Network, Steam, Xbox Live, and participating publishers and developers.
