The release of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is imminent; the system requirements for the PC version have now been determined.
The long wait for the big expansion Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will soon be over, as the big DLC will finally be released later this week. In advance, From Software has now made the PC specifications of the add-on clear in a blog post.
The recommended settings require an Intel Core i7-8700K or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X as the CPU and 16 GB RAM. In terms of GPU, you should have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB, AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 8 GB or an Intel Arc A850 8 GB.
The minimum requirements are of course lower, but still require 12 GB of RAM, for example. You can see the minimum and recommended system configurations in the graphic below:
You will need around 16 GB of hard drive space for the DLC; From Software announced this last week along with the pre-load data. This pre-load will be available from June 19th.
The major expansion will add more than 10 bosses and additional sub-bosses to the action epic, which was immediately awarded Game of the Year. There will also be around 100 new weapons.
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will be released on June 21, 2024 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
