elder ring and God of War: Ragnarok was the big winner at the 26th annual DICE Awards, with both games winning multiple awards.
Elden Ring took home the coveted Game of the Year award, while God of War: Ragnarok swept the floors of the Resorts World Las Vegas resort, mall and casino.
Elden Ring also received Outstanding Technical Achievement, Outstanding Game Design Achievement, Role-Playing Game of the Year and Outstanding Game Direction Achievement.
God of War: Ragnarok received Outstanding Achievement in Animation, Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction, Outstanding Achievement in Character Kratos, Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition, Outstanding Achievement in Audio Design, Outstanding Achievement in Storytelling, and Adventure Game of the Year.
Other winners include Action Game of the Year for Vampire Survivor, Mario + Rabbit Hope for Family Game of the Year, MultiVersus for Fighting Game of the Year, and Gran Turismo 7 for Racing Game of the Year.
OlliOlli World wins Sports Game of the Year, Strategy/Sim Game of the Year goes to Dwarf Fortress, Red Matter 2 wins Immersive Reality Game of the Year, Tunic wins Outstanding Achievement in Indie Game, Mobile Game of the Year goes to Marvel Snap, Final Fantasy 14: Endwalker was named Online Game of the Year.
Horizon Forbidden West was nominated in six categories but won no awards. Stray was nominated for three awards but came away empty-handed.
Finally, this year’s inductee into the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame is Tim Schafer.
