What is Elden Ring?
Elden Ring is the new game from From Software Studio. Inheriting much from its predecessors, Elden Ring is unsurprisingly a third-person action RPG. The title turns out to be a worthy heir to the Souls saga (Demon Souls and Dark Souls), but it’s not in the same universe at all. We still love the dark fantasy atmosphere of the Japanese studio. Elden Ring seeks to advance the From Software formula by unraveling its gameplay and now open world. So the universe was co-created and studied with the writer Georges RR Martin
We then find ourselves projected into the Entre-Terre, a region lost and devastated by a past war. In fact, Queen Marika the Eternals’ heirs fought for power and lost control of the kingdom. You are an unbroken, miraculously resurrected lost soul whose duty is to restore order by becoming Lord of Elden yourself. Through a huge open world, you’ll discover the Entre-Terre, a first for the studio, which until then only offered much more linear environments. For the rest, especially the fights and the difficulties that arise from them, Elden Ring is 100% the heir of souls.
