Elder Scrolls Online New Life Festival Starts This Week
The New Life Festival starts this Thursday December 16th at 10:00 AM EST and will end on Tuesday January 2nd at 10:00 AM EST. This event will grant you players not only a number of rewards but also event tickets, this time with a maximum of 60 tickets available during this event.
How to take part:
In order to take part in the New Life celebration you will need first pick up the New Life Festival Scroll from the in-game Crown Store. Then visit the New Life Herald Breda, who can be found in the south of Windhelm in Eastmarch. Use the portal found at the Impressario to take you directly to the New Life Festival.
Interacting with Breda will put you on a quest called “The New Life Festival” which will then unlock daily quests (a total of nine New Life Festival daily quests) that will take you all-over Tamriel. Completing the quest for the first time will grant players Breda’s Bottomless Mead Mug collectible, which will give players a two-hour 100% boost to XP when consumed. Not only can you enjoy this boost throughout the festival but it also stacks with other XP items including scrolls.
Gift Boxes
As it is the season, players will gain a gift box for every Herald’s quest completed called the Festival Gift Box containing house items, crafting mats, consumables, style items, mementos and a chance to gain some rather rewards too. This year has the new Powerwhite Coney pet and a Nord Carved Armor style:

- New Life recipes
- New Life collectibles (packaged in Runeboxes and tradeable):
- Sword-Swallower’s Blade memento
- Juggler’s Knives memento
- Fire-Breather’s Torches memento
- Mud Ball Pouch memento
- Nordic Bather’s Towel costume
- Colovian Filigreed Hood hat
- Colovian Fur Hood hat
- Snowball Buddy pet
- New Powderwhite Coney pet
- New random page for the Nord Carved Armor style
New Life Charity Writs
As a part of your gift box rewards, you will receive Writs, these are exclusive to the New Life event and will task you to create simple furnishing items. Once completing these new writs you then need to turn them in at any writ location for its item type.
By completing 12 Charity Writs you will gain the sparkly achievement of “Newly Charitable”, this comes with a Crystalfrost skin.
Event Tickets
As per usual the event will also gran Event Tickets, with three Event Tickets available each day. You can gain tickets from the Gift Box plus other rewards. This event will have a maximum of 60 event tickets available, with a number of items you can purchase from the Impresario vendo including Unstable Morpholith pet fragments, mount fragments and more:
- All three Unstable Morpholith pet fragments
- Deadlands Flint, Rune-Etched Striker, and Smoldering Bloodgrass Tinder
- All Deadlands Scorcher skin fragments
- Rune-Scribed Daedra Hide, Rune-Scribed Daedra Sleeve, and Rune-Scribed Daedra Veil
- All Deadlands Firewalker personality fragments
- Vial of Bubbling Daedric Brew, Vial of Scalding Daedric Brew, and Vial of Simmering Daedric Brew
- All Dagonic Quasigriff mount fragments
- Smoke-Wreathed Gryphon Feather, Black Iron Bit and Bridle, and Black Iron Stirrups
- All Doomchar Plateau house fragments
- Scorching Pillar, Searing Column, Molten Key, Profane Pedestal, and Unholy Tablet
- Bound style pages for the Nord Carved Armor outfit style
- The Powderwhite Coney pet
- Group Repair Kits
This will be the first and final opportunity to collect all the fragments for the Doomchar Plateau house.
The New Life Festival starts this Thursday December 16th at 10:00 AM EST and will end on Tuesday January 2nd at 10:00 AM EST.
