Weighs only 14.5 kg
For electric bikes, there is usually no better compliment than "looks like a regular bike." The "baby caregiver" has also reached this level. The manufacturer himself chose it as the most erotic electric bike in the world. Is it true? Just judge for yourself, one more thing: no application!
Lean urban electric bikes such as Vanmoof, Cowboy or Cooper are definitely trending in 2019. One reason is the unobtrusive slim appearance. Even at first glance, it's hard to tell if it's an electric bike instead of a regular bike. However, you can determine if you have motor support and sweat only if you really need it.

Only weighs 14.5 kg-you must not use it
The electric bike produced by the FLX Bike company in the United States is based on an aluminum frame. Due to lack of accessories such as lights, fenders, luggage racks, etc., it weighs only 14.5 kg. This is a true statement. A typical electric bike typically weighs about 20 kilograms, but usually also offers hydraulic disc brakes. On the other hand, Babymaker brakes with a rim brake. However, there is a Pro version that uses Magura disc brakes. There is no application on purpose, which in turn is suitable for simplified designs.
The rear wheel motor provides five levels of support. In the currently available version, it unfortunately supports German law for too long a maximum speed of 40 km / h (25 miles per hour). However, the software versions have been adjusted for the European and German versions, and according to the manufacturer, only speeds of up to 25 km / h are supported. The engine transmits power through Gates' low maintenance belt drive. Operate using a simple bicycle computer. The barely visible battery (36 volts / 7 amps) is located in the frame and should be able to fully charge in two hours.
Baby Caregiver: Price and Availability
You can configure baby products individually. You can choose not only the color, but also the shape of the handlebar. Electric bikes are currently funded through crowdfunding via Indiegogo-but the funding goal has long been achieved.
Manufacturer FLX Bike noted that a bicycle was successfully financed and launched on the market in 2016 through Indiegogo. "Babymaker" also retains prototype status and is in mass production. The first customers should get electric bikes by the end of August 2020.
Prices can be found on the project page. It starts at a very affordable price of 895 euros. Prices continue to rise and are expected to be around 2300 Euros after the event. If you know exactly what you are doing, a bike like the one described here is only suitable for blind purchases. When in doubt, check out our video buying tips for electric bikes.
