Game news Ender Lilies: a big update with new modes for Dark Souls in 2D
Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights was released on June 21st and is already welcoming its first major update on PC. With this patch 1.1 new modes and balance adjustments are integrated.
Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights follows the line of darker metroidvanias (like Hollow Knight and Blasphemous) and does pretty well. This is evidenced by the many positive reviews of the game on Steam and a 16/20 in our columns. But Live Wire Studios and Adglobe aren’t resting on their laurels: As of today, a comprehensive update is available for download on the PC. It introduces the following major new features:
- A “Boss Rush” mode where battles are linked and put your skills to the test.
- An in-game video player itself for reviewing the most memorable and moving moments of Lily’s quest.
- A new game + mode to relive the adventure against more powerful enemies while maintaining the skills and relics you have acquired.
- New game modes that allow you to change game settings for a completely customized experience.
- A new item to equip at the end of the game that will reward you when you return to the Far East.
In addition, this update contains adjustments to certain relics. It also offers better playing comfort by adding more locations (3 to 10) and allows you to configure buttons to move the camera while correcting some errors.
While this update is only available on PC, it will be arriving on consoles very soon. Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights has been available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch since June 21.
