Good news for fans of the apocalyptic building strategy: Endzone 2 is getting an extensive demo version and is also part of the Steam Next Fest.
Anyone with a heart for post-apocalyptic survival should mark June 7th. In the run-up to the Steam Next Fest, which begins on June 10th, Assemble Entertainment and the in-house development studio Gentlymad Studios are releasing the first playable demo version of Endzone 2.
The Endzone 2 demo offers endless mode as well as a comprehensive tutorial, accompanied by German voice acting. You can then try out the game’s new features, including the interactive expeditions in which you explore abandoned ruins to collect valuable resources.
In order to ensure the survival of humanity, you initially roam the post-apocalyptic landscape in the iconic Endzone bus in search of a new home. The map in Endzone 2 is divided by rivers into 3 sectors, which differ in their resource deposits and properties.
In the demo you can move freely in the first sector and build several settlements. All settlements must withstand Endzone-typical disasters such as droughts, sandstorms and irradiated rain. Later in the demo it is possible to establish transport routes between settlements.
As a special thank you, Gentlymad Studios and Assemble Entertainment have prepared a surprise: by achieving an exclusive achievement in the demo, you can unlock and upgrade a cosmetic item that will be available with the Early Access version of the game. The prerequisite is to play through the demo and unlock the achievement “DEMOlished”. Endzone 2 is scheduled to go into early access in summer 2024.
