The detailed world of Enotria will come to the Xbox later – and once again the weaker Series S is apparently to blame. This is suggested by the developers’ statement.
Jyamma Games has announced that Enotria: The Last Song for the Xbox Series X/S has been postponed indefinitely. The announcement comes very shortly before the planned release, which was supposed to take place on September 19, 2024. This date still applies to the game versions on the PC and PlayStation 5, although the title will initially only be available digitally. A classic physical version of the game will follow at a later date.
But why are Xbox gamers left empty-handed again after not being able to get their hands on Black Myth: Wukong? The reason is most likely to be the less powerful Series S, which is likely to have problems with the new title from Jyamma Games. At least that’s what the makers’ statements suggest.
“Even in the wonderful, detailed world of Enotria there is some darkness. Unfortunately, we have to announce that the Xbox version is being delayed indefinitely. We understand that this is disappointing news for the Xbox community. Despite our best efforts and the hard work of our team, we have encountered challenges that are delaying our release on the Xbox platform. We would like to stress that this is not a decision that was made lightly,” the makers said.
Entoria is a new Soulslike game aesthetically based on Italian folklore, with rich environments filled with cathedrals, castles, and ruins to explore. The game was originally announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2022.
