The German title Enshrouded got off to an excellent start in early access – and now there is the first fresh game content in the form of an update. We’ll tell you here what’s inside “Halls of the Extinguished”!
The German developer Keen Games is giving its successfully launched survival action role-playing game Enshrouded a first content update as part of Early Access with “Halls of the Erloschenen”. The new patch brings a series of larger dungeons with a new enemy faction and legendary rewards. There are also new crafting workshops with recipes and new quests on board.
When it comes to dungeons, there are four expansive areas like this that await you with enemies, new traps and new rewards. There is a fresh dungeon per biome after you have spoken to the alchemist.
Gamers who enjoy building and decorating will be happy that round doors and windows are now available. Potted plants and additional tree seedlings will also be added to the game. The immersion should be improved when the fog is removed from the bases with the new update – wish number 23 from the feature upvote. And another innovation comes into play: sitting. With the new update you are now able to sit on your furniture.
Anyone who likes to play in co-op will also receive new features on this front. Among other things, the joint management of inventories should be simplified. Multiplayer pings now allow all party members to communicate precise direction or a point of interest while exploring. It is also now possible to find servers using the IP search.
And otherwise? Crafting is now possible in batches that can be shared – a feature that is currently ranked 7th in the top votes at Feature Upvote-Tool stands. There are also general quality-of-life improvements in terms of user interface and performance. Among other things, the frame rate limitation to 60 Hz was lifted with the update.
