This week, Epic Games is making you the right hand of death with the new free game and for World of Warships you finally get the patent that allows you to sail the big ships.

Death’s Gambit: Afterlife is a tough Metroidvania in which you, as Death’s assistant, are on the trail of the secret of eternal life. Build your own personal play style from seven playable classes and over 100 talents. Combine different classes, choose from more than 30 weapons and beat up over 20 huge bosses. Crafting, New Game Plus, alternate endings, Heroic Hardcore Mode, and so on and so forth – Death’s Gambit Afterlife offers you hours of entertainment and doesn’t cost you a penny this week at Epic.

If you don’t want to work directly for Death, but at least give him work, then take a look at World of Warships. Here, Epic is offering you a real boost for your fleet with the “Albany” starter pack. The starter pack contains the American Tier II premium cruiser Albany including a berth at the port, 1,500,000 (in words: one million five hundred thousand) credits, a patch, various signals and a whole host of consumable bonuses for credits (+40%), ship XP (+200%), captain XP (+200%) and free XP (+600%).

You will also be given the task of completing 15 battles and can choose another researchable ship for this. Either the Japanese Tier IV destroyer Isokaze, the American Tier IV cruiser Phoenix, the German Tier IV battleship Moltke or the British Tier IV aircraft carrier Hermes. That’s quite a lot of ship for no money at all.

You can still get the package for World of Warships and the Metroidvania Death’s Gambit: Afterlife Pick it up for free from the Epic Games Store until August 22nd at 5 p.m.
