Fortnite developer Epic Games has conducted an interview with analyst Superdata on its Fortnite report.

Every month, the market intelligence team Super dataA company from Nelson has published a report on the health of the digital market. The report covers the highest paid people on PCs, consoles and mobile devices.

Needless to say, Fortnite's success has made it a routine target for analyzing these reports. Superdata reported in January that Fortnite's revenue has reached its lowest level since November 2017.

Although Epic Games did not respond to this specific report, the developer stated that it was generally skeptical of Superdata's findings and questioned its analysts' research methods in a statement to Games Industry.

An Epic representative said: "Superdata has never and never accessed Epic's Fortnite revenue data, and Superdata's reports do not accurately reflect Fortnite's performance."

"We are disappointed with Superdata's repeated and extremely inaccurate reports on Fortnite, based on what we consider to be a problematic methodology. Although we did not and did not share Fortnite's revenue figures publicly, we would say that Superdata's report is not realistic. "

In response, Superdata told the gaming industry that it supports its report, which is based on "verified methods and validation processes."
