The long-running sci-fi hit will receive its next expansion in 2024: Revenant. CCP Games has now officially announced this.
CCP Games continues to rely on its driving force EVE Online and has announced Revenant, the next big expansion for the space sci-fi MMO. The new add-on is intended to continue the current Deathless Saga in the game from November 12, 2024.
What’s it about? The Drifters have laid siege to the Deathless in Zarzakh, targeting a mysterious structure that bears the hallmarks of ancient technology. In the wake of the battle and as the promise of their power grows, the Deathless have called on the capsuleers of New Eden to help them uncover their secrets.
Based on this storyline, the add-on offers the opportunity to increase your arsenal against the drifters, secure artifacts and use special new technologies. To get new ships and weapons, you can place mercenary caves in the nullsec area. The “encrypted Infomorphs” obtained from this can be used to exchange for new items. To increase the production of these Infomorphs, you can conduct Operations and upgrade your Mercenary Caves.
The add-on’s new ships include the Tholos (destroyer) and the Cenotaph (battlecruiser), both of which specialize in close combat. There are also optimized corporation projects, various new activities and the new project type “Ship Insurance”; The latter offers corporations support in automating ship replacement. Advanced customization and individualization options round off the expansion.
