more LEGO Animal Crossing The sets are on their way, and this time they’ll see the arrival of fan-favorite singing dog KK Slider.
Back in March, LEGO released the first (somewhat mediocre) Animal Crossing sets, and even though they looked mediocre, they sold like crazy. You can get your hands on them now, but you might have a hard time picking up a set of them back then. Now, earlier this week, LEGO announced that it will be releasing more sets based on Animal Crossing . The larger of the two sets is based on Animal Crossing’s Town Hall and includes the main building itself, a van, a cafe stall, and minifigures of Isabelle, Audi, and the one and only KK Slider. The little one does look nice, but the town hall is basically just the front of it, so not very exciting.

The other set is the Dodo Airlines airport, complete with control tower, dock, plane and Wilbur and Donkey minifigures. Again, it’s cute, but mostly boring – and you just know you’re paying for a plastic arm and a leg for these things, even though there’s not that much on offer. But hey, if you like simplicity, there’s probably something for you at least!

This will be Isabelle’s second minifigure, as you can also find her in a green vest suit in Isabelle’s house tour set, and apparently the Town Hall set might be worth it for those who like the KK Slider (I can Not your fault, that dog can play guitar like no one else). While the price hasn’t been confirmed yet, the release date is at least confirmed – August 1st! So you still have a few months to raise funds/loans to cover the costs.
