Update, 6:03 p.m.: As EWE informed us when asked, the disruption has now been rectified. The reason for the disruption was a failed telephony server. Now all customers should be able to surf and make calls as usual. And the situation on our fault indicator has also calmed down significantly.

The Internet provider EWE is struggling with a disruption. The customers report this to us on our fault indicator. The problems mainly concern the telephone connection. But the internet connection also seems to be affected.
The reports reach us mainly from Lower Saxony, Hamburg and Bremen. However, there also seem to be isolated problems for customers from North Rhine-Westphalia and Hesse. Especially in Frankfurt am Main.
It is not yet known what causes the disturbances. However, we will keep you updated here as soon as something new becomes known.
