The rumors about the Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 Ti have increased significantly in the past few weeks. There are therefore hardly any doubts that the new player flagship based on the Ampere architecture will be released soon. The latest information from far-away China now even wants to know exact data on reveal, tests and releases.
Release Ende Mai? So reports ITHome website citing a forum member that the Geforce RTX 3080 Ti will be officially presented on May 18, 2021, i.e. in around three weeks. The embargo on tests and reviews will end on May 25th, sales should start one day later, on May 26th.
What is known about the RTX 3080 Ti so far?
The specifications of the RTX 3080 Ti have not yet been determined with absolute certainty. So far it has not even been confirmed that they will actually exist. However, the increasing number of leaks and rumors paints a very precise picture of the future flagship (Nvidia officially refers to the RTX 3080 as this and not the RTX 3090).

How fast will the RTX 3080 Ti be?
According to the latest leaks, the RTX 3080 Ti should clock slightly lower than both the RTX 3090 and RTX 3080. At the same time, it offers almost as many computing cores as the RTX 3090.
This is how we estimate the performance of the RTX 3080 Ti in relation to:
- UHD / 4K (3,840 x 2,160): 10 percent faster than RTX 3080
- WQHD (2.560 x 1.440): 5 percent faster than RTX 3080
- FHD (1.920 x 1.080): At eye level with RTX 3080

Availability and price
At the moment, an EIA is assumed to be around 1,000 dollars. In view of the generally poor availability, the EIA is only likely to be relevant for the lucky few.
