Planet Crafter, a huge Steam success from France, gives us a great announcement. We have a release date and a first look at the next new releases!
The independent scene is not lacking in spice and atypical games. Hundreds of them are released on Steam every year, often offering varied and atypical experiences. Coming soon, it’s a strange game halfway between automation builder and eco-friendly fresco. The child is curious Satisfactory and Terra Nil, two opposites, very clear and yet…
After its success on Steam, Planet Crafter is preparing for its release
Planet Crafter, that’s his nickname. A first-person open world 3D crafting game that combines survival and space exploration, that’s how it’s sold to us and the trailer doesn’t seem to lie.
Our mission is simple on paper. We land on a desert-like planet and rehabilitate it to make it habitable for humans by terraforming it from A to Z, bringing back water, flora and soon even fauna. Our credo is to gather resources, create and maintain good levels of oxygen and heat to support life and make the Earth habitable while surviving the hostile conditions of the planet and the environment. A game that has definitely managed to find its audience and the feedback is unanimous: it is excellent, with more than 25,000 reviews on the platforms, a nice little success.
A release date for v1.0!
Planet Crafter offers multiple buildings to build, allowing real freedom in the approach like Satisfactory, the similarity is striking. The impact on the environment will be more than positive, vegetation and nature will gradually regain their rights, as in a Terra Nil, and we will see the fruits of our labor gradually develop under our eyes. Currently Planet Crafter is only available in Early Access on Steam. The final publication in Version 1.0 is scheduled for April 10th next and many new features will follow. We are automatically announced a new multiplayer mode for up to 8 players, the appearance of wild animals, new biomes (there are about thirty) and a whole bunch of other additions. Certainly new technologies and other work tools. Not to mention the messy corrections.
