Exoprimal will be available on Game Pass day one. That means you won’t have to pull out your wallet to play Capcom’s upcoming Coop PvE shooter when the game launches on July 14th.
Announced during the Capcom Spotlight Showcase, the game will also have an open beta from March 17-19. This public beta will be available on all platforms, so check it out if you can!
The last major update for Exoprimal shown off during the Capcom Spotlight Showcase was the Survival Pass – a battle pass with free and premium tiers through which players will be able to progress. As of this writing, there is no set price for the Premium Pass.
The game had previously been tested in the wild on a closed network, with the press, influencers, and regular folks getting to play the game for the first time. For the first time, however, anyone and everyone can jump in and try out the game.
It’s worth noting that the first beta period for Diablo 4 is also running between March 17-19, so Exoprimal may struggle to grab the limelight. Sure, these are two very different games, but you only have so much time to try out these early games, right?
Whether or not Capcom’s Jurassic venture into live service will be successful remains to be seen, but they at least get points for doing something different from the pile of tactical modern FPS games that have piled up over the past few years.
