Final Fantasy 16 is expected to be announced very soon. Brazil’s video game classification authority arrives to lend weight to recent rumours.
With the Game Awards 2022 fast approaching, so does the potential announcement of Final Fantasy 16’s release date. The PS5 exclusive will open up to pre-orders during the unmissable annual event. Rumors that gain even more weight today since they have been examined from all angles by a foreign classification authority.
An announcement for Final Fantasy 16 soon?
FF16 will be released in Summer 2023, but when exactly? It looks like the answer to this question is coming in a few days. In fact, Tom Henderson recently said that the game can be reserved very soon and this during the period of the Game Awards 2022. For his part, Naoki Yoshida, producer of Final Fantasy 16, has confirmed that the release date will be announced … before End of year. All lights are green for next week’s event, and a new notice is pointing in that direction.
That Brazilian rating system, which is the equivalent of the Brazilian PEGI, actually gave its verdict on FF16. The PS5 Exclusive is not recommended for children under the age of 16 because ” sexual content, sensitive issues and violence. More specifically, the game will talk about and feature scenes of explicit sex, prostitution, torture, drugs, hate crimes and violence. The game looks significantly more mature than the other installments in the franchise.
While no further details have been revealed, Square Enix seems to be up to something around the game. Publishers regularly have their productions vetted ahead of a big announcement, and Nintendo recently did the same for Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. For the record, the producer of Final Fantasy 16 has revealed that the development of the new episode of the saga is 95% complete. Now it just needs to be refined. On our side we just have to wait for December 8th from 6pm to have the end of the story.
