The first graphics cards of the new RTX 4000 generation have already appeared, and the RTX 3000 and RX 6000 generation models have fallen sharply in price compared to the cost of early 2022. We want to know how this affects your gaming GPUs and are therefore starting a suitable survey.
Also included in the survey for the first time: Intel and the new Arc graphics cards, even if their availability is still limited and the driver situation is more difficult than with AMD and Intel. You can find out more about this in the following article:
Tests of the new Intel Arc graphics cards
A surprisingly complicated picture
But back to this survey. You will find all the desktop models from AMD and Nvidia (and Intel) that are relevant from our point of view, right down to the GTX 900 generation and the RX 400 GPUs. If you are using an even older graphics card or a notebook GPU, you can choose the option at the very end none of them
choose.
Feel free to write in the comments if you are missing an important model in the list. You can also let us know what GPU you’re using, why you chose that particular graphics card, and if you plan to switch to a different GPU in the near future.
A possible option is, for example, the Geforce RTX 4080 that will be released today, for which you can already find a detailed test on GameStar.de. According to that, it delivers a very respectable performance, but at a very high price, especially for a GPU of the XX80 series.
The significantly cheaper Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards from AMD will also be launched in December, for which there is only official performance data and no independent benchmarks yet. How AMD sees itself in a duel with Nvidia according to its own measurements, you can find out here:
Geforce vs. Radeon: According to AMD, the RTX 4080 doesn’t just stand a chance against the RX 7900 XTX in terms of price
We are curious to see how the distribution of graphics cards has developed since our last survey and look forward to a lively participation in our survey!
