Many people are looking forward to Fall guys It landed on Switch and Xbox sometime this year, but that was not the case.
According to developer Mediatonic, this will not happen this year, but we will hear more about the studio’s platform plans sometime next year.
“We know that everyone is excited about Fall Guy coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox, and this is for good reason,” the studio said. “There is a lot of speculation on social media linking these new console versions with the release of Season 6, and we want to clarify that this is not the case, so no one will be confused when looking for games on these platforms.
“Thank you for your patience with us. This is one of our top priorities for active development. We can’t wait to share more details with you in 2022.”
Initially, the game was scheduled to land on both platforms in the summer of 2021, but the development team believed that the release window was “too early” and could not contain all the “delicious new features” under development.
If you are playing games on other platforms, at the same time, you can learn more about Season 6-Spectacular Party. It has many limited-time events such as Sackboy for PlayStation users, 50-tier rewards unlocked in Fame Path, Fame Path exclusive costumes Jin and The Ghost, and new features available through Epic Games Accounts, including cross-platform progress between PS4 and Steam, and the return of custom usernames.
“We were hyped up because Season 6 brought us closer to our goal of bringing Fall Guys to as many people as possible. Epic Game Accounts brought cross-platform progress and then proceeded between PlayStation and PC this season. Cross-platform games,” said the studio.
“This will require us to do some testing and learning, because we want to ensure that we can provide players with the best experience, no matter which platform they like to play on. This is also an important step in bringing Fall Guys to other platforms.”
