Fallout 76 wants to reinvent itself. After the Wastelanders update brought the longed-for NPCs, everything around should now be better. A timetable for the current year already exists.
So Bethesda has that Roadmap 2020 revealed, and it has it all. Not only the wasteland residents can expect a kind of Battle Pass, as it occurs in games like Fortnite. Seasons are also supposed to provide regular variety with special events.
But what is still in the roadmap? On the overview picture you can see everything that Fallout 76 should make a better game in 2020:
By the way: Fallout 76 is currently playable for free. So if you want to pay a visit to the Appalachian Wasteland, you have the opportunity to do so until May 18.
That is still in the 2020 roadmap
For Fallout 76, important gameplay changes are planned and new content is also coming. The innovations are divided into the next three seasonsafter the big Wastelanders update started in the spring.
This is what you can expect in the next updates of Fallout 76:
Summer 2020
- Battle Pass: The first pass comes in the style of a board game. Here you can level through 100 levels and earn rewards, including cosmetic items, perk card packages and the premium currency atoms. According to Bethesda, "all players have full access" to the progress in the Battle Pass, which suggests that the Battle Pass does not have to be purchased separately. In contrast, individual increments are available for 150 atoms.
- Seasons: The Seasons replace the previous challenge system in Fallout 76. However, challenges remain in the game and are only bound to the changing seasons. Each season, a new Battle Pass and new rewards to earn.
- Events: In-game events such as Carnival and Meat Week are returning.
- Legendary perks: New perk cards especially for high level players.
- Public player search: You should be able to find foreign players for joint activities more easily in the future.
