After the failed release of Fallout 76, Bethesda really rolled up its arms and turned the MMO into a proper Wasteland adventure with patches and content updates. The developers have now announced their plans for 2024 and they are certainly encouraging.
To put into perspective how much Bethesda has worked on Fallout 76 since its release in 2018: There have been a total of 17 major updates and almost countless smaller patches and hotfixes.

In a new edition of the “Inside the Vault” blog series, art director Jon Rush announced the plans for 2024. According to him, Fallout 76’s map will be significantly expanded next year.
Specifically, the Shenandoah region will be provided with fresh content and areas. This includes new and unique factions, quests and rewards. This information is accompanied by artwork showing the new region. We see some hills and various buildings. Of particular interest is a vault door lying around the area. This shows the number “63”.
We also see some lightning bolts striking the surrounding areas from the sky. We can therefore assume that environmental influences are also among the dangers that threaten us in the new area.
However, Jon Rush did not yet have a specific date for the update. At least there was some information about Season 15 of Fallout 76, which runs from December 2023 to March 2024. This is offered, for example, by the “Holiday Scorched” event and the “Burning Love” challenge.
