After the success of the Amazon series, Bethesda announced an update for Fallout 76 that would make Ghouls playable. The release period for this has now been further specified.
Since the successful Amazon series adaptation of Fallout, the Ghoul has enjoyed cult status within the franchise. There was therefore great joy when Bethesda Game Studios announced that ghouls would also be playable in the long-running MMO Fallout 76 as part of a future update.
This update was previously promised for the beginning of 2025, but the makers have now further specified the release period. The update, dubbed “Player Ghoul,” should be available from March 2025 – just in time for the game’s 20th season. Before that, Season 19 will start on December 3rd and will keep gamers engaged for more than two months with new content, events and more.
Whoever takes on the role of a ghoul in Fallout 76 will not only change visually from March next year. Rather, a ghoul plays completely differently than the previous characters, has different advantages, but also other disadvantages that you have to deal with.
If you have reached level 50 in Fallout 76, you will be able to transform into a ghoul in the future. If you don't like that, you can also undo the transformation in the game.
