The latest Fallout 76 update is available now, and as always, it’s free for everyone. The update introduces three new public events: Toughness Test, Eviction Notice, and Moonshiner Feast.
The latest update for Fallout 76 not only brings some new features, but also marks the start of the new season. In Season 9, Heart of Steel: A Dread Island Story, you can once again travel across a new game board and reap rewards by earning SCORE and leveling up. The new game board of the season includes the Dread Island Pack, Bone Bow Skin, Bone Throne, and more. Fallout 1st members can also look forward to special rewards and more SCORE this season.
The three new public events that the update will bring for free are as follows:
Hardness test
The Brotherhood of Steel dispatches a strike team to investigate the machinations of the Rust Eagles, a Blood Eagle faction who have been hoarding heaps of robot parts in order to assemble a robot army. The event takes place at the metal dome north of Fort Atlas in the Savage Divide. To start the event, players must first talk to contender Pappas. Team up with three members of the Brotherhood Strike Team for three rounds against the Rust Eagle machines for loot, XP, and rare rewards, including blueprints for the new Bot Builder Armor.

Super mutants have overrun a new Foundation settler camp. The event takes place at a crater east of Foundation and south of Huntersville in the Savage Divide. Players must fight back the hordes of super mutants and protect and keep the settlers’ mechanical marvel, the Radiation Filter, running to tame the radiation on site. During this event, players can earn reputation with the settlers, loot, and a chance at one of several 3-star Legendary weapons, each with unique new paint jobs.
moonshine party
Moonshiner Ned waits on the bar at the Sunday brothers’ cottage on the moor. A visit to Ned starts the event. Players must help him acquire the most important ingredient for his Mire Magic moonshine: the poison of acidic gobblers. The slingers are lured in with the whizzing fire, in order to then extract their poison from them. 30 loads of poison are needed for a load of moonshine, but the distilleries must also be running and must not be destroyed by the slingers. Upon successful completion, players will receive reputation with the Raiders, loot, the all-new Scrabble melee weapon, and a few bottles of Slingshot, which will further increase the damage dealt by the Scrabble.
The new test of endurance update brings three new public events to Fallout 76 and at the same time marks the start of the 9th season.
