Fallout is known to be implemented by Amazon as a TV series – and this has now become a bit more interesting. A renowned and well-known actor will expand the cast.
If you watch the live-action adaptation of the post-apocalyptic Fallout series on Amazon Prime Video, you’ll also get to see Kyle MacLachlan. This has now been officially confirmed – and makes the series even more interesting. Reason: MacLachlan is none other than Paul Atreides from the original film adaptation of “Dune” in 1984 and also appeared in “Twin Peaks”.
MacLachlan is the most notable addition to the cast. He will also be joined in the Fallout series by newcomers Xelia Mendes-Jones and Aaron Moten. Previously, Ella Purnell (“Yellowjackets”) and Walton Goggins (“Justified”) were confirmed to star in the series.
While the renowned entertainment magazine Variety can confirm that the five actors mentioned will play a role in Fallout, it is still unknown which specific roles they will fill.
While MacLachlan has a bulging résumé in film and series, Mendes-Jones and Moten are far less well known. Mendes-Jones will star alongside Forest Whitaker and Timothy Alyphant in Havoc, a film currently in post-production and expected to release later this year. Moten, on the other hand, can be seen opposite Will Smith in the Apple TV production “Emancipation”, which is scheduled to start in 2023.
The Fallout series was announced in Summer 2020; the first episode will be directed by Jonathan Nolan, a producer on the hit HBO series Westworld. There is no start date yet.
