The Amazon Fallout series hit like a bomb – no wonder it continues with Season 2. The corresponding filming will now start soon.
Amazon’s series adaptation of Fallout completely convinced both fans and newcomers to the franchise – and accordingly became a big commercial hit. Expectations for Season 2 are correspondingly high, and many gamers and series fans have been waiting longingly for it ever since. Now we’re finally making a little more progress in this regard!
As has now been announced, filming for Season 2 will start soon. This was revealed by Leslie Uggams, who played Betty Pearson in the first season. In an interview at New York Comic-Con, she was asked about the timing of filming and replied, “We’re starting in November. I’m excited about that.”
After the series started in April 2024, the number of players in Fallout 76 and other Fallout classics also increased massively. Amazon announced a second season pretty quickly – and even after this one, Fallout will probably continue on Amazon.
Showrunner Graham Wagner had already indicated that up to five seasons would be possible. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in June, Wagner emphasized that they had spoken to Amazon about both three and five seasons – and given the success of Season 1, five seasons now seems much more likely. Nevertheless, we continue to pursue the approach of approaching each season as if it could be the last.
