Fallout (Amazon Prime): Series breaks crazy audience mark

Everyone should know that the Fallout series was a huge success on Amazon Prime. Now the series has even set another mark and achieved an incredible number of viewers.

Oh, the Fallout series… quite a few had hoped for the best and feared the worst, but fortunately the adaptation of the video game series turned out to be a hit, not least thanks to excellent world-building, a great soundtrack and with Ella Purnell and Walton Goggings too great actors.

The series catapulted to the top so quickly that a second season was just a formality and is currently in production.

As Amazon Prime has now announced, the series has now broken an almost insane mark a few months after its launch. Fallout now has over 100 million (!) viewers worldwide. This makes Fallout one of the most watched live-action productions ever – and rightly so.

Good for Bethesda too. Thanks to some cleverly planned actions, the games in the series also benefited from the success of the series. For example, Bethesda brought the (not entirely problem-free) next-gen upgrade for Fallout 4, stuffed series content into Fallout: Shelter and even the now successful problem child Fallout 76 experienced an unexpected boom.

And this isn’t the first time that a game series has benefited from well-made film or series adaptations. Cyberpunk 2077, for example, experienced a second spring thanks to the excellent anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and The Last of Us also benefited from the successful series implementation. In complete contrast to the Borderlands film, which flopped mercilessly, but in contrast to the series mentioned, is simply not good.

In any case, we can look forward to the second season of the Fallout series. We just hope that Amazon doesn’t want to rush in and mess up the production. That would just be a shame.

Fallout – New scene from the Amazon Prime series

Before the series starts on April 11th, Amazon Prime released another scene from the Fallout series. In it, Lucy (Ella Purnell) clashes with The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) and is somewhat overwhelmed when she tries to resolve a conflict in the wasteland using Vault Dweller tactics. When her efforts to de-escalate the situation fail and tensions arise, Lucy receives additional support from a member of the Brotherhood of Steel.
