Anyone who has dared to try Fallout: New Vegas hardcore mode knows that this is not a treat. On the one hand, the already dangerous dangers of the radioactively contaminated Mojave desert must be defied, and on the other hand, annoying problems such as reality Eat, drink or sleep be respected.
The Youtuber Mitten Squad has asked itself the question: What if I play Fallout: New Vegas in hardcore mode, but Just ignore my character's earthly needs? And who would have thought: Fallout: New Vegas can actually be played through in hardcore mode without eating, drinking or sleeping – ingame, of course.

Fast, but fast enough for a speed run?
To end Fallout: New Vegas in this way, Mitten Squad only has one two hours and 46 minutes needed. For Speedrunner an almost ridiculous balance, but probably only a few have tried to make the hardcore mode so much harder for themselves.
Because if you haven't tried a fallout game in a hardcore mode, you should know: on this level of difficulty with realism your character must eat, drink and sleep regularly – otherwise he dies.
Mitten Squad always had the ticking clock on his neck during his New Vegas run while he was using one or the other speed run trick to quickly reach the end and end of the campaign:
Until the last breath
And almost everything would have gone wrong: Immediately when the final cut scene from New Vegas was to be played, the thirst display of Mitten Squad's character reached its maximum. When the ending sequence was to be played, the character of the Youtuber tried to clear his throat, which heralded his death.
Fallout: New Vegas – that is not exactly known for being error-free – probably did not cope with this high level of thirst and so the final cutscene was canceled before the narrator could congratulate the player for his many good deeds.
Did Mitten Squad actually finish Fallout: New Vegas without eating, drinking and sleeping? Or doesn't his triumph count after all? Decides in the comments. Thanks to the Youtuber, we now know that the obsidian role-playing game can be played through at least in theory.
