A walk through post-apocalyptic London requires the right clothing. And ideally, it has to protect you against attacks from cannibals, crooks and mutated creatures. If you are looking for strong armor, you should definitely stop by Hackney. Because here you get the opportunity to massively upgrade your armor.

Defensive fashion

More specifically, it is about the so-called Ballistic Fibers, which you can find in Fallout: London with the quest Fashion Terrorism Once available, you can use it to upgrade certain items of clothing, which massively improves their armor values. Many of you are probably familiar with the principle from Fallout 4.

For example, it is possible to wear a stylish outfit instead of a piece of mismatched armor and still be well protected. But it can be even better: Some items of clothing that you can wear under armor can even be improved. So you can combine the values of your armor with the upgraded clothing items.

Tommy-Uniform

You can even wear the Tommy Uniform in addition to normal armor.

Cap

Some headgear can also be upgraded and is therefore significantly stronger than any helmet.

To benefit from the stronger upgrades, however, you need the skill ArmourerEach rank of this skill unlocks a better version of the Ballistic Fibers. The prerequisite for unlocking the skill is three points in strength, higher ranks are only unlocked at certain level limits.

How to complete the quest

If you want to unlock the Ballistic Fibers, you have to go to Hackney. Sooner or later, the main quest will take you to this walled district in Fallout: London. If you want to find your way there yourself, you have to go far to the north of the city. We have marked the entrance to the district on the map here:

Once you reach the marked gate, you simply have to activate the intercom so that it opens for you.

Once you arrive in Hackney, you will witness a firefight between two gangs. Help Rosie and Guy against Miller’s henchmen. You will then receive the quest Hurly Burlywhich you should activate immediately and follow up on.

The fighting continues here: You help the gang called Roundels in a street fight and in the raid on a club. After the battle, you listen to a speech from the leader and then you can meet the leader of the Roundels. Before your meeting, however, you should get something decent to wear.
