Those excited for Fallout: London better get ready, as the mod’s developers have shared a promising update.
It’s been a tough year for the team behind Fallout: London, as the massive mod was supposed to be released in April, but unfortunately Bethesda unexpectedly announced Fallout 4’s long-awaited Next-Gen update two weeks before the mod’s release date. The mod team responded a few days after Bethesda announced that the Next-Gen update meant the mod would have to be delayed (updates often break mods, especially ones as big as the Next-Gen update, which also includes changes for the PC version). Last month, the developers confirmed a new release date, though it hasn’t been announced yet – but they’ve now revealed that it’s coming.

An update shared on the mod’s Discord, via the Fallout: London Twitter account, explains: “There’s been a lot of speculation about our upcoming release, and we wanted to set the record straight and set the record straight for our core supporters. On top of that, we’ve sent several builds to GOG for QA testing and are awaiting final approval. Once they’ve double-checked that Fallout: London and its installer work on all supported machines, we’ll be ready to go. (Yes, we have our own installer and downgrade process too!)

“We all want the final QA process to be fully completed, and we are very grateful to GOG for their assistance,” the statement continued. “While it may seem like not a lot is happening, we can assure you that department heads have been working non-stop behind the scenes during this time to make the release as perfect as possible. The end is in sight.”
This obviously isn’t a concrete release date yet, but assuming Bethesda doesn’t drop another plan-destroying update, you should be able to check out this DLC-sized action pretty soon.
