Fallout fans will probably be doomed to be content with the games in the series that have already been released for a long time to come. After all, it will still be a few years after the release of Elder Scrolls 6 until Fallout 5 is actively worked on at all. Until then, the release of various impressive fan projects could offer a bit of variety.
For example, Fallout: Miami, whose developers are developing an ambitious open world with its own main story and side quests, now shows a new trailer in which we see more of the world of post-apocalyptic Miami. This was released for the 25th anniversary of Fallout.
What does the trailer show?

Fallout: Miami shows the most diverse corners of its open world in the trailer
In the trailer, the developers show us different places from their open world for almost three minutes. In addition to the abandoned and irradiated ruins, vaults and settlements with wasteland flair typical of Fallout, we also apparently explore a robot factory and meet the enclave.
Miami itself has a (formerly) vacation-friendly vibe, with palm-lined streets and wide, sandy beaches. The developers themselves also refer to their world as Vacation Wasteland
What else is there to know about Fallout: Miami?
The fan project is to appear as a free mod for Fallout 4, which is similar in size and structure to an expansion. Your character is lured to Miami by a lucrative job offer, only to find himself caught between the fronts of a multi-faction conflict. The central theme will be the struggle between order and freedom.
These are the main features of Fallout Miami:
- Open World: Miami is filled with new characters, companions, factions, and creatures
- Numerous quests: Main quest where you can join different factions as well as some side quests
- Classic Fallout Features: In Fallout: Miami you will be able to increase and decrease your reputation with the different factions. You also unlock various new conversation options through your attributes.
