Warning: There are spoilers for the first season of the Fallout TV series.

The upcoming second season of Amazon’s Fallout will reportedly star Macaulay Culkin — yes, the kid from Home Alone who hasn’t been a kid for a while. Who is he playing? Well, we don’t have a name yet, but I have a crazy genius type theory.

We already knew that filming on the highly anticipated next installment of just about everyone’s favorite show was set to begin this month, at least according to one returning cast member, so it wasn’t a surprise to hear about the new cast. Not some fictional guy in a box.

According to Deadline , Culkin will appear on the Fallout show in Season 2, playing “a mad genius type character,” which will be a recurring role.

As the site points out, the actor has done other stuff with Amazon recently, voicing a character in the Prime Video animated series The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy, which I just found out is now also produced by Macaulay’s Brother Kieran plays an alien birdman named Dr. Propp.

Anyway, speaking of the weirdly named science guy, since we don’t know who Culkin plays in Fallout, but the show’s second season will be set in New Vegas, I’d like to take this opportunity to nominate him for playing Wonder , the “mad genius type” guy you meet on Helios One, who definitely knows what theoretical physics is.

He even told the Courier: “They asked me how well I understood theoretical physics. I said I had a degree in theoretical physics. They said you were welcome to join.” I could see Ella Purnell’s face contorting into The perfect “you know what, man?” expression.

To be clear, this is almost certainly not going to happen. I’m not sure the timeline will make perfect sense, but it’s interesting to think about given how little we’ve seen of Culkin’s character so far.

In the meantime, if you want to spend more time thinking about how weird and wacky Fallout New Vegas and its characters are, you can do so in a feature below where I wander around the wasteland trying to date as many of the characters as possible .
