We can easily imagine the rest of the gameplay of a modern Superman game. Prevent accidents, accomplish heroic deeds, distribute steel nuts to the bad guys, look really good in pajamas. What a supernatural hero does all day long.
We are not alone with this request, the short teaser generates a strong response from fans. Almost 100,000 upvotes and 3,000 comments are a huge hit on Reddit.
What happened to Superman games?
The closest we got to a new Superman game was when a title was in development at either Rocksteady or WB Montreal. However, this game was discontinued before an announcement was made. Instead, WB Montreal announced the co-op title Gotham Knights.
So there is still no trace of a new Superman game that is currently in development. Therefore, there is currently no evidence that DC will bring the steely man back to the home PC in the near future.
