Update 1.19 is the latest patch for Rockstar's Wild West adventure Red Dead Redemption 2. The approximately 800 MB update was released early on March 9 for all platforms. However, Rockstar has not yet released any official patch notes for Update 1.19. So currently no one knows exactly what the update has now fixed.
The players are currently on a search and report any changes. Nobody can really say what has happened now.
Red Dead Online's biggest problems
Since the patch has a very small download size, it of course contains no extensive innovations. Most players therefore assume that the patch primarily addresses bugs that continue to exist in Red Dead Online. There are three major problems that are annoying the community right now:
- Too few animals: Red Dead Online has had a problem with animal spawn rates for several months now. Especially in full lobbies, there are few animals to hunt except for crows. Update 1.19 is said to have helped somewhat, according to reports from some players. On Reddit, players report that more animals can be found when loading for the first time. However, the same problem should occur again afterwards.
- Infinite loading screen: With Red Dead 2 it can still happen that the loading screen never comes to an end. According to the Youtuber United Potatoes, the new patch should help here, if you adjust your character. However, other players report that they are still stuck on the screen after the update. So the problem was not completely resolved.
- Server stability: In this area, too, players are very divided as to whether Update 1.19 really helped. The fact is, there are still crashes. These stability problems are said to have been improved in a few places, for example when switching from story mode to online, but the problem was not resolved.
So the three biggest problems of Red Dead Online still exist in different forms. Therefore, many players are wondering what Update 1.19 has patched now. It is also unclear whether the update will get official patch notes.
